baby I'm down.

Here comes my story. In my english conversation class Mr Klein asked me if I was excited about Easter. And I said of course because Easter means the whole family being together, enjoying the new-born spring nature, sunny weather and simply just loving the days off.

And this year? Well... Sunday I went to church. Woke up soon, had a nice cheese roasted sandwich+coffee breakfast, enjoyed the church (even though I felt a very urgent need to sing ROLLING STONES song on the inside) and after church Irenka drove me home and on our way she said I should come to stay in her house. So we had a really nice time (I love her family, I love her mom, she simply is the nicest lady and her dad is a very nice and funny too) and I saw the whole family getting ready for the big Sunday family lunch. They drove me back home (which was very very nice of them since the car was super full) and...

... I was home alone, again. It felt so weird. I am so not used to be home alone. There would always be my sisters (or at least one of them in the past two years), my mommy, her partner or even though none of them were not home I would have a boyfriend or friends invited. But I didn't invite anyone this time. I just thought it would be awesome to spend some time on my own. Well.. not exactly.

I made myself big Sunday family lunch - chinessee vegetable soup (ick) and I really wanted to call my mom but then I realized last time we talked we had that big fight and so I didn't call her. I started to cry and I cried like a little baby. My friend called me to hang out but I was really mean to him and I didn't want to do anything but cry. When there were no more tears pouring, I decided to do something fun and so I found those very very old dvds of me and my friends being crazy 5ish years ago and... it was amazing!!! It was so much fun!!! Seriously I laughed out loud, I posted some of those videos on facebook and my friends started to call me and so we laughed over the phone.

Then I had a little coffee and politics time with my father, texted my friend apologizing and asking him to hang out and so we did, we talked a lot, then we met some other friends (I got a chance to ride Jirka's BMW M3 car!!! You know I'm not really into cars - I am not at all to be honest - but whenever I say that I sat in M3 people do "WOOOW!" and hivefive me), then I went to that crazy carousel with my brother (from another mother :) and then we all together went for a beer but ended up on that hill outside of town having a lot of fun... I came home around 1 am (not that easy to spend almost 20 hours on feet) and I realized that even though 12 hours ago I felt like the saddest person ever, super lonely with no one loving me, I am one lucky girl. Even though my family was not around this Easter and I don't have a boyfriend to enjoy being home alone with (not that I would need one at the moment) I still have my "family". My friends. Believe it or not, they are my family! And I am very very very sure about them and that's not gonna change. Cause guess what? It's still the same people that were on those videos. And I'm sure five years from now we will laugh at photos/videos/stories from these days just as we are now laughing at those. Does that make any sense?:) I hope it does!

Just to keep you up with the news - yesterday (Monday) was weird. I felt very sick so I stayed home the whole day pretty much just dealing with the fact that I can't really walk or anything. Then my family finally came back and I had an amazing time with my little beauty!!!

Today was sweet. School was chill even though it seemed to be one creepy day. After school I took my little sis to her judo class (we had so much fun! I just love having conversations with 8year-old kiddo), did a little shopping (yop I found those funny rolling eyes that I jus LOVE!), listened to some Martin Luther King speeches while doodling and had a nice time at Luke's with Wendy, Honza, Ashley Ward, Ashley Haines, Luke and a lots of others. I really liked the tree idea! And I got VERY VERY VERY excited!!! Why??? Service project in 3 days!!! YAY!!!

I'm off to study now (well... let's say study.. there's new GG episode right?), excited about spinning with Ashley tomorrow.

Love, Petra
