holiday.

So the spring break is here. Finally!!!
(well since I get sick like two times a month it's quite common for me to not be at school but this time it's an official holiday... YAY!)

So Sunday after my b-day party, me and my parents went to my hometown - tiny teeny town in the mountaines. It felt so good to be back (after more than three years actually), we had a good time but I had to head it back quite soon cause I had to pick up all those presents and flowers from the party - crazy (crazy in a good way of course I'm not mad about tons of presents I got).

Yesterday was all busy and.. bittersweet. I spent like half of the day shopping but even though I went to every single store in town I didn't find ANYTHING. Literally anything. I might be too tough on fashion or there simply is NO fashion in this town. So I bought a simple black scarf (just for the feeling that the time I spent shopping was not completely wasted). I had a coffee with Tamara and it probably was our last coffee for another month since she doesn't live here anymore. But I am still glad that she could make it and that we had a chance to celebrate our birthday together.
I also was supposed to meet my childhood friend but he couldn't make it in time and when he was finally done with all his bussiness here, I was too exhausted and tired :(
But I really hope to see him ASAP.
Since Sunday I keep in touch with a lot of my childhood friends... it feels really good :)!!!

And today I took a looong walk with my dog and I found out that - THE SPRING IS COMING!!! WHOOT WHOOT!!!
So I'm going to Prague for the rest of my spring break to enjoy it with my A.I. (Amazing Irenka) and to finally see my sister's new appartement and new puppy and to have some really good coffee and hopefully do some really good shopping :)

And last short new - I talked to Sara my mexican princess and she said that she's done with college in September and she wants to move out from Mexico and live in Prague. Isn't that just AWESOME???
I hope we can work it out and live on the same continent again :)

(my mexican princess Sara Maria Campos Arias and her buddy Karl Lagerfeld :))

Well... this post has any deep thought or anything. I just wanted to keep you up with the news. And I surely am going to do that when I come back from Prague.
Enjoy the first sunny days :)

love, P.

the B(ig) day.

I decided to try to catch every single moment of my 19. birthday. I don't know why, I just wanted (I guess I subconsciously felt that it's going to be an amazing day).

So the night before we had a good time with B., Martina and Tom just talking and enjoying (my last 18year-old) Hoegarden and then I slept at B's, we had a delicious vegan dinner, watched Lipstick Jungle (yes she totally became a fan and yes she totally is Nicco) and had a looong bauty sleep because there was a big day coming.

The day D we woke up at 7 (yes I really did wake myself up at 7 am on Saturday!!!) and started working on the party details. We baked around 50 muffins (decorated with those cute little pearls that matched the Café43 walls), rolled about 20 sushi maki and made like 60 pieces of nigiri. It was exhausting but a real fun though (we danced a lot - it really helps making good sushi!!!).

Then I packed my stuff, came back home and there was a cute chocolate cake and bottle of delicious wine waiting for me as well as all those amazing gifts I got from my amazing family.
I spent some time playing UNO with my little sister, set the party playlist and then I got all ready for the night.

The Heels&Tie party night.
It was amazing. Nope. It was even more amazing than the most amazing party in the world is.
Almost all the people I wanted to spend my birthday with came (people who couldn't make it called me to apologize like thousand times - you're sweet!!!), I got tons and tons and tons of wonderful presents (I love you people) and tons and tons and tons of chocolate (gosh am I supposed to eat it???) and everyone loved the place, the food, drinks, music, everything.
Everyone told me after the party that it was very special - original - different and really GOOD!
And that's what I wanted!!!

I think it was the best 19th b-day party I could have ever dreamed about.
And I had the best people around me to spend it with.
I am one lucky girl, you know?:)

(I surely am going to talk about the party again, as soon as I get all the photos from our photographer. You'll se the beautiful place and my girls looking like beauty queens!!! Yay! :)

Valentine's.

I don't really celebrate st. Valentine's.
I mean last year it was all nice, I was in London with my bf, we went to see Benjamin Button, shopped in the largest shopping centre in Europe (Westfield London - yes it is super HUGE) and had a nice dinner in thai restaurant. But it was not like Valentine Valentine.
No flowers, no heart-shaped balloons or chocolate... and I didn't mind.
I don't need a cheesy pink balloon saying "I love you" to make me happy.

This year's Valentine's day Aubrey skyped me asking

"Will you be my Valentine???"

It was so sweet just like Aubrey always is!
So just to make it official - this is my 2010 Valentine - Aubrey, my californian twin.
I love her from the bottom of my heart.
She just is that AWESOME!

And these are some Aubrey's quotes that I just love!
She always makes me smile and laugh even though there's an ocean between us.

"Petra. If you were a boy, I'd forget Petr and marry YOU!!!!! =D
Yes, I love you THAT much!!!!!!!!!"

"Let's be honest, I have the absolute BEST Valentine in the WORLD. Miss Petra Pastirčáková!!! Just look at that girl, so beautiful! I love you Valentine!!!!!!"

"Most recently, I met Petra. In some of the worst moments of my life the past few months, I would get these huge long messages from her pouring her heart out, and encouraging me the way no one else ever has. This girl, will do amazing things in her life. She is my twin sister across the globe. We both love Jesus, love to dance, and… something else. ; )"

(the last one is my favourite)

Happy Valentine's Day!

empire state of mind.

I had a weird Monday. As my facebook status said the only thing I thought would make waking up at 5:30 a little less uncomfortable - coffee - tasted gross, I could NOT turn on my brain in my 7am class, my new french teacher is just getting on my nerves (sorry mrs Idontevenknowyourname but... your classes are just annoying), I screwed my biology test, I pretty much slept the whole rest of the school day and when I came home I fell asleep again while listening to some Tchajkovskij. I woke up around 7pm, survived my english taughtering, got into a very bad mood again, sent some not very nice text messages and fell asleep again.

And for some really weird reason I woke up at 10:30 this morning listening to my mom yelling at me. Yop I completely overslept school. I've had those very bad and scary dreams lately and that is probably the reason why I couldn't wake myself up. It was just creepy and whenever those dreams come to my mind again I literally start shaking. I felt confused and scared when I woke up, I couldn't understand my mom's speech and I just felt like something was wrong with me.

I went to school for the last two classes and I set up a "date" with my girl, Irenka. I felt excited, but when I saw her walking down the street wearing her cute North Face jacket and smiling I felt like... I missed her very very bad. And after we had a nice talk with her mom and we went downtown and had fun driving and dancing and talked a lot and got together with Tyna and shared all those cute gifts I just realized that I really missed something for the past two months.

And after we had a little "deep" conversation at Ashley's I realized that this is what I always want to keep in my life. True friends who are not afraid to tell me what they honestly think. True friends who dare to have a little "fight" because they know it moves us forward. True friends who know what to expect from me and I know what to expect from them.

And I can frankly and proudly say that I found friends like these.
Thank you my girls!

welcome home pilot's girl <3

btw: I got the cutest sparkling scarf from Holy Land and the coolest Miley Cyrus t-shirt from the other side of the Atlantic ocean. Yes I feel LOVED.
